Questioning if a big traditional wedding is what you want...and if your day could feel less like an event and more like a meaningful adventure?
YOU're in the right place
YOU're in the right place
I’m an adventure elopement photographer based in Maine, here to help you create a day that feels natural, meaningful, and completely your own.
I don’t just show up with a camera I help you plan an experience. From location ideas and timeline guidance to helping you feel comfortable in front of the lens, I’m with you every step of the way.
My approach is laid back and supportive, so you can focus on what actually matters: being present, soaking it all in, and celebrating your relationship in a way that feels true to you.
xoxo Samantha
“We got married on a foggy, misty morning and I was worried at first but Samantha was so reassuring and confident. Looking back, the weather made everything feel even more magical. She came prepared for everything and had backup ideas, which made us feel completely taken care of.”
“Samantha went above and beyond in every way. She helped us find a secluded trail, timed everything around the best light, and even helped bustle my dress when the wind picked up. It felt like having a friend there who also happens to take incredible photos.”

What happens if the weather is bad?
Honestly this is part of the adventure. Maine weather can be unpredictable, but that’s also what makes it so beautiful. I always build flexible timelines and backup plans into your day, whether that means shifting timing, choosing a more protected location, or leaning into the mood (fog, mist, and dramatic skies photograph incredibly well). You won’t be left stressed we’ll have a plan.
What if we’re not “outdoorsy enough” for an adventure session?
Adventure looks different for everyone and that’s the whole point. It doesn’t have to mean hiking miles into the mountains. It could be a slow morning by the ocean, a cozy cabin stay, or even a sauna and cold plunge experience. If it feels meaningful and true to you, it belongs in your story.
Do we need to hike far to get epic views?
Not at all. Some incredible views are just a short walk away. If you’re up for more of an adventure, we can absolutely incorporate that but it’s never a requirement. We’ll choose locations that match your comfort level and vision.
How do you make the experience feel relaxed instead of rushed?
A relaxed experience starts with thoughtful planning. I help build a timeline that actually allows space for the moments you care about whether that’s time to take in the view, share a meal, or just breathe it all in.
What if we’re awkward in photos?
Perfect you’re my people. You don’t need to know what to do. I’ll gently guide you while also giving you space to just be together. The best photos happen when you’re relaxed and present, not posed.
Can we include multiple locations in one day?
Yes multiple locations can add so much depth to your story. This is where having more coverage time really becomes a pro, giving us the flexibility to explore without feeling rushed. We can move through your day at a relaxed pace while still fitting in everything you’re envisioning.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely. When I say family is included, I mean your fur babies as well.
